Remember Those Before Us

Today was actually rougher than I had actually thought at first. August 30th 1903, Crawford Travis Anthony was born, my grandfather, we all called him Pa or Pa Daddy. January 26th 2002, he passed away. Maybe we shouldn't dwell on the past, but we shouldn't forget it either. For the good times we should always remember, the bad times we should always learn. I know that I'm not the only one who misses Pa, we all do.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PA!

  1. Even though I never personally knew PaDaddy or met him face to face, I've known him for seven years now. He's in your walk; he's in the way you put your hands behind your back when you're thinking; the way you selflessly love and fight for the righteous; the way you let your wife win most of your arguements :-), and he's definetly in the smile that is forever etched on my brain and heart. I see him in your gentle eyes. I see him in those eyes that water every time you speak his name or we sing a song he loved. It's in the scripture that you religiously remember. It's most assuredly in the expression you make as we drive up to the cemetary and pay respects to his final resting place. So yes, I DO KNOW Pa. He's a wonderful man, and I am indebted to him for loving you so much. Pa and I are forever connected within the confines of your heart. Happy Belated Birthday Pa! Happy Birthday Wayne!
